GPRS People Counter is the one-door/2-doors bus passenger counter specially for one-door/2-doors buses.

It can collect 1-door’s/2-doors' passenger’s on/off counting data&GPS location synchronously.

All the data will be stored into SD card or uploaded to server through wireless network GPRS, 3G or 4G.

Extension Functions:

Video Recording----4CH 720P recorder can be used together with people counters to record the video of people getting on and off at each stop or station, video analytics data is regularly sent back to a central database.

GPRS/3G/4G/WIFI----With wireless 3G/4G/wifi network, all data including videos/gps/counting will be sent out to users within 1 second,

it will prevent all possible weak signal or poor network.

Fast wireless network also support remote upgrading and other remote control of device, so user can securely log on and remotely control and configure the units from any internet-enabled computer.

GPS Location-----All passenger counter devices will be sold with gps module unless you want to integrate other device with gps already.

GPS will bring exact location, date&time about the buses, and show essential data to passengers, like arrive time, speed, direction and others.

Counts passengers getting both on and off

Because the front door and back door sensors count people getting on and off respectively, it is possible to count passengers simultaneously when they all get on and off at once.

Counts two passengers at once

A single sensor is able to function properly even if a wide door allows two passengers to get on/off at the same time.

Stable accuracy more than 95%

Accuracy is based on average accuracy of an actual vehicle count (in our recommended environment).

Outputs live images

The camera's video output function allows viewing of the conditions near the middle door (back door), which is difficult to see, and also records the images in the video event data recorder.

1. Main Unit

Counter Processor(brain), Mounted at the bottom of seat or ceiling of bus, process and calculate the data, send to HDD storage or GPRS&3g&4g.

2. Binocular Camera

Mounted on the ceiling of the doors, counts passengers get in or out of the bus.

3. Door Sensor

Door open/close sensor, is used for sensing the door open or close status.
